DREAMWORKS
Christian Academy

Learn more about our why!
The purpose of DREAMWORKS Christian Academy is to meet students where they are academically, socially, and most important, spiritually. DWCA offers parents an alternative teaching environment to the traditional classroom setting with low student to teacher ratios in each class and individualized learning plans for each child. We believe in a wholistic approach to the development of each child's mind, body, and soul.

Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he grows old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
About Us:
We are a small, Christian Private School with a vision to change lives by multiplying Christ centered leaders to change the world through each child's unique God-given abilities.
Opportunity Scholarship:
DREAMWORKS Christian Academy is currently completing the final requirements to be part of North Carolina's Opportunity Scholarship.
If you are interested in using the Opportunity Scholarship with our school, simply select "unknown school" for now.
As we complete these final steps, we will update you on any directions or procedures going forward.
We are excited to become part of this program!
A message from our Director:
"As a teacher of 24 years, I have had the opportunity to teach in many environments and over 2000 different students. I have taught whole language, direct instruction, reading first, and in the open classroom setting with flexible seating. What I noticed in all settings, is all students learn differently and some just need extra one-on-one help. Through the pandemic, my eyes were opened when I saw the massive struggle the students faced having to learn virtually and face to face. My heart broke for them and their families. I wanted to be able to help assist students in any way possible so they could be successful and achieve their goals.
Homeschool co-op gives students the chance to better tailor their education to fit their individual needs and achieve success. I will continue to use a curriculum that aligns with the NC standards."
